Didn't turn on after 1 year and 1 month from date of purchase.

Bought for my 92 year old father-in-law. Worked fine until two weeks ago when he moved it and it wouldn't turn on. I made sure the plug was providing power and other devices plugged into the same outlet were working properly. Have tried many established outlets. Yes it IS an expensive product compared to others but I thought I bought a little better price. So. Also, there is no way to send a message to the seller from within Revain. And I don't want to spend a lot of time with customer service…

NOT walnut as stated in the description

This is a nice little radio. Looks good, feels good, fits good, sounds good. A bit bassy as others have said but I like the warm tone so I'm fine with that. My main reason for the 3 star rating is that the description is incorrect. I specifically chose the "Walnut" radio to match our walnut furniture, but the radio is cherry veneer, not walnut. I will say this is a good natural wood veneer but very smooth and well finished. In the photo you can see the cherry radio on the walnut bench that I…

Sangean is the only radio worthy of the air

This is my second Sangean product for my Los Angeles apartment. I can't say enough good things about this brand. After a thorough review of every radio on the market 10 years ago, I was torn between the Sangean WR-11SE AM/FM table radio and the Tivoli Audio Model One M1CLA AM/FM table radio. I really like the Tivoli style - it's beautiful, classic, small, simple, etc. That's where my compliments to Tivoli end. I'm embarrassed I tried them out in Los Angeles when I bought a Tivoli Audio PALBTGB…

Great price, Tivoli-level performance

This WR-15 is almost certainly a Sangean WR-11 in a different form factor. Neither have tone controls, but both sound reasonably satisfactory, although with the 100Hz frequency boost originally made by Henry Kloss/KLH in the mid-1960s being commonplace. This little trick gives small speakers powerful bass, even if they sound artificially "booming". With the antenna built in, the weak FM sensitivity and adjacent channel rejection are pretty good, although not in the same league as high-end…

Buy one and feel good

I have four Sangean tabletop radios. I have 2 WR-11s, a WR-2 and now this WR-15BK. They all sound great and I doubt I can tell them apart blindfolded. I was lucky with the radio. I suspect these analog radios are a bit more durable than digital ones, but that remains to be seen. I don't find much difference between this model and the WR-11, but the WR-15 doesn't have the tuning index that I like in an analog radio. It would also be nice if Sangean illuminated the labeling of the control buttons

This radio and speaker are truly excellent. And it's a great deal for the price. It's a bit bigger than I expected, but that's undoubtedly one of the reasons it sounds so good. I wanted this type of device so I could use it as speakers for my desktop computer (via the stereo mini jack from the computer and into this speaker) and also have a radio on my desk. Some features: BENEFITS - The sound quality is surprisingly good. Full, not can. Good bass response. This unit replaces the Tivoli Pal and

Compairson -- Sangean WR-15, WR-11 and WR-11 SE

RADIO: I have a Sangean WR-15, WR-11 and WR-11 SE. Comparing all three side by side I find the internal electronics design to be very similar if not identical. All tune the same way, sync to stations the same way etc. All three are great radios, the best I've seen on the desktop radio market. The only difference between the WR-11 and the WR-11 SE is the bezel color. SOUND: The WR-15 has a slightly flatter base than the other two. I suspect this has to do with the size of the case and not…
