One was a little chipped but they all work.

These appeared, poured oil and immediately caught fire. Just one full of holes with a bad mantle rolls badly. I managed to get him fit again. Looks like that part of the box fell on the corner. Overall I'm happy with them.

Dangerous! Best Home Decor Products

Please do not use. I followed the fuel recommendation and set the flame to low and within 5 minutes the flame was leaping over the top of the lantern. I was very concerned and curious to see if this was a one time thing. I put the lantern outside and repeated the process. Within 10 minutes the lantern was destroyed. If he were inside, my house would be destroyed too.

Filler cap for oil lamps and accessories

I bought these lights a year ago and the threads on the filler caps suck. The carving is not deep enough and crosses easily. You'll need pliers to remove the cap and if you don't get it right by putting it back in, you'll end up with a cross thread. Also, one of them is leaking along the seam, looks like the seam is rusted. You want to use them at a wedding when they're probably a good choice, but if you use them on your patio every year they're a bad choice. They don't last two years.

works perfectly. Use clean fuel. Find and read the manual.

I took one out of the box and filled it with "spicy" lamp oil. Glows and burns well for a few minutes and I had to constantly turn the wick to keep the flame under control. After a few minutes, the flame will begin to flicker and crackle, and a lot of black smoke will be thrown out. As if the wick wasn't drawing enough oil. I'll try another one with clear oil and see if I get different results. (Update) Must be fuel. I drained the "spicy" lamp oil and filled it with high purity transparent oil.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Vulgarity
