I bought this one because the old one seems to be making the machine run very hard. This solved the problem, but only temporarily. Put the old one back in and turned on. I would give it one star but it worked fine while it lasted.

Purchased to fix a misfire in my 1989 Ford with thick film ignition (TFI). Easily installed with a special tool (which I already had). Also, instead of the silicone grease that came with the module, I used a heat dissipation compound between the metal base and the manifold for better heat dissipation. All in all this solved the misfire problem and I've put about 800 miles on the new block and still no problems!

This product worked as expected for my application to be installed on a John Deere 316 Lawn Tractor. 3 were not connected because they are not needed. The closed terminals 2, 4, 5 and 6 are connected. I cut off part of the case for easier access to these contacts.
