Good table for children from 2 to 4 years

We already had a table like this, but the version with a blue top. Aside from the color, the brand and specs are the same. We LOVE the original table and use it indoors all the time so we bought a second one to keep it outside. Although almost identical, we did notice that the plastic has rougher edges than the first one we bought. Some of the plastic reaches sharp corners that weren't smoothed out during production (we found at least four such areas on the table). I'm not sure if the one we…

Difficult assembly

No good instructions included. You cannot assemble this unless you have a power tool. Even with a power tool, you will find it difficult to turn the screws as needed. There is no clear indication of where and how the screws should go. I gave up after 4 screws and just assembled without screws. I have about 8 screws left on the side. That makes it a little wobbly, but good enough for kids to play with. It's a shame they didn't put a little more effort into assembling it. Otherwise it's a great…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Loudness

Instructions show assembly drawings which are confusing as the table and benches are not pre-drilled or clearly marked for screw attachment. A customer service rep said the company has stopped pre-drilling holes due to the risk of children eating plastic drill cards. When I asked about pre-drilling the holes myself, she said that pre-drilling is not recommended for customers because the hole may be too big and then the screw will not fit properly and then the customer will get stuck on the…

difficult to clean; Plate tilts, plates/cups slide off

is very annoying to serve food on this table. The edges are almost imperceptibly bevelled, which means that children's plates and cups constantly slip off. So annoying. In addition, the surface has a rough structure with a carved wood effect, which is really annoying when wiping and pulls food scraps out of the folds. Especially things like peanut butter. There is a "sunburst" pattern in the center, which has very deep grooves, crumbs, food, juice will get stuck or dry up at the end of the…

The power tool is good for children's furniture, decoration and storage

I received our picnic table today. There are no delivery problems. The instructions show pictures of a person using only a hand tool (screwdriver), which is not accurate at all. You need some kind of power tool. You will need a power tool as the places where you need to put the screw don't have holes so you need to make them. You will need a screwdriver as the areas where the screws go are a bit tight and the power tool may not be able to insert them fully. You also have to guess where to place

  • Nice packaging

Great table on patio furniture

We first bought a Little Tikes Easy Store Jr. picnic table. with an umbrella as the first table for our young grandchildren and we loved it. It's about time to buy more as another grandchild came along and other kids started playing here so we bought this one. Both tables are excellent. The first one mentioned has a seat height of 9 inches which is great for 1 to 3 year olds (and some 4 year olds) and this one not only allows more kids to sit in it but also has a seat height of around 12…

The perfect party table for kids!

I bought this table to celebrate my son's first birthday as a seat for the little ones on our porch. It arrived in two days and it took my husband about ten minutes to assemble it. I love this table as it is sturdy, beautiful and served its purpose at our party. It's quite large, which is great because it has plenty of space for food, drinks, crafts, toys, etc. I'm sure I will be using it with children for many years to come. It holds a lot of kids and has a pretty big weight limit. My nine…

Great outdoor table for kids

We have a 3 year old and a 1 year old and we already have a matching Step2 sand and water play center that matches this color (at least). . With the expected rush of children at my one year old's birthday party, my wife bought it in a hurry to serve as a table for eating and playing on our patio. The kids loved it and my kids continue to use it. It fits 4 small children very comfortably (2 on each side) or 6 children very comfortably. My 1 year old son can sit on the bench by himself but the…
