Latest HDMI v2.0 18Gbps 4K@60Hz 1x2 Splitter with automatic 4K to 1080p down-scaler; HDCP 2.2 Compliant, does not bypass HDCP. The one input to two outputs, the one input is to be connected to the HDMI source, and the two outputs are to be connected to the TVs, both TVs will share the same video and audio signal. Two built-in EDID modes Auto (to accommodate both outputs at the same time) and out1 (to fully utilize the display connected to output 1 without compromising by the display unit @ output 2). In auto mode: when output 1 is a 4K HDR/Dolby Vision TV, and output 2 is a 1080P TV, the HRD/Dolby Vision will be disabled for the 1080P TV to get the best 1080P video quality, while output 1 gets 4K video. The reason is 4K to 1080P down scaler doesn't support Dolby Vision, and 4K HDR produces poor 1080P color. If both TVs are identical 4K displays, then the scaler has no effect, it will not be activated automatically. In out1 mode: the TV connected to output 1 will be fully supported and obtains Dolby Vision / HDR video as if the TV is connected to the HDMI source directly, this mode is to make sure that the capabilities of the TV connected to output1 is not comprised by TV connected to output 2. Support all HDMI latest video and audio formats supported by HDMI v2.0; this splitter does not support CEC. CEC is not a desirable feature for HDMI splitters, CEC is good for switchers. seems to work - splitter

i bought this to remove dhcp so i can watch netflix and other programs in my city and country from 2014. This box when I first plugged it in, HDMI and power included, didn't change anything...but by accident I found out that for certain applications it works if you don't plug in power. it works on Netflix and YouTube as well as Disney+ and Prime Video, it doesn't work on Apple Movies/TV Shows. Movies Everywhere or Most Important + I was still seeing DHCP errors with these programs. that's howโ€ฆ

My Roku Ultra issues were resolved and I arrived faster than main order

I was having issues with my Roku Ultra often not outputting an image to the projector and audio system. There would be a lot of black screens and flashes. Then I found out about problems with HDCP protection. I found this on some searches, this solved the hdcp issues that were causing some problems. I like its customizability, but I've found that it works with the default settings. It's great, I didn't even need a splitter, but its ability to solve the latest HDCP protection issues is greatโ€ฆ
