5 gallon household bucket I don't like, bracket tends to tilt when washing sponge, need to hold on when washing/cleaning.

I worked in plastic factories. It hurts to know the selling price compared to the cost of production. However, it is a practical and useful item to use in a bucket. The inventor better make himself comfortable.

Who would have thought that so much dirt would go back in the bucket!?!?! I bought one of these and then, when I saw dirt building up underneath, switched to a two-bucket system. LOTS of mud! This prevents him from returning to the car. and/or sand down the car paint with old dirt.

10-3/16 inch OD, fits in Home Depot orange bucket. The inner diameter of the HD blade is about 1/4 larger than that of this sand guard. The PP material is not brittle, it will stand up to some flexing so I hope it will hold up well. Overall good value for money.

Works as advertised. But it tends to turn at the bottom of the bucket when rinsing off a rag, glove, or sponge. This kicks up dirt and sand from the bottom of the bucket, causing them to re-weigh the water and possibly decontaminating what you've rinsed. Limits your movement back and forth on the protective case.

I have 5 different 5 gallon buckets. I have 3 different 3.5 gallon buckets. I have 2 different 4.5 gallon buckets. I have a 6 liter bucket. Those cereal shields didn't suit any of them. It just sits at the bottom of these buckets, and when you fill them with water, they just rise to the top. Totally useless for its design. through my experience. However, they appear to be quite durable and well made.

Fits 10ft ID buckets with slightly outward sloping sides. Apparently it works as it should. Neither of these things are really durable, but this one seems to be suitable for its intended use with due care. EDIT.items works as expected. Should have bought earlier. A lot of dirt at the bottom of the bucket when cleaning. No problems except that like most plastics it's light and tends to float or go sideways when filling a bucket with a hose. little thing Happy with the purchase.

I have used this sand guard once since I received it. It doesn't fit snugly on the bottom of a standard Lowe bucket, the guard diameter is too big. But I used it at an angle on the bottom of the bucket and it worked fine. The plastic feels strong and sturdy. The holes are big enough for particles to fall to the bottom of the bucket. It worked well, never floated in water and was easy to remove when done. This gave me good assurance that small particles that can scratch car paint are stuck in…
