Review on LG 34UM88C-P 34 Inch UltraWide 3440X1440P Monitor with Screen Split 2.0, OnScreen Control, Flicker Safe, AMD FreeSync™ Technology by Michael Rose

There are no screws for the stand! Must swap!

The monitor seems great but as mentioned before if you are missing covers for the top 1 or 2 screws for the stand beware of the issue. My monitor is missing the piece of metal inside the monitor that the top two screws screw into, so I can't attach the stand. I have no choice but to order a new replacement and this after spending a day at work collecting this incredibly large package from the post office and I think picking up the replacement the same way and all for to repackage the shipment. An incredible waste of time for what is clearly a manufacturing oversight. It's currently plugged in and leaning against a wall and I have to say that apart from the screw issue it's a very good monitor. I am connected to my MacBook Pro with an Apple Thunderbolt cable and it looks very good, excellent resolution. The built-in speakers seem to be very good. I have a 1080p version of the same monitor and ended up selling it and buying this one instead because everything on it looked bigger and bigger. This is a much higher resolution monitor and costs an additional $300. I haven't seen any of the flash flickering issues mentioned by other users. If you see this, please buy an APPLE Lightning adapter from the APPLE Store. There are a large number of fake Apple adapters sold at Revain so I took no chances and went straight to Apple and the one I have works great. only 1 of 2 is missing so i can attach the stand and it wobbles a bit but i don't feel like returning something that big again. I hope people are prepared not to be able to attach their stand. What I'm guessing is that the metal covers that the screws go in are usually taped to the inside of the monitor, but they fall off during shipping or due to heat or something. I think they fell off because I can rotate the monitor and hear something rattling inside. So technically you can somehow open up the monitor, re-stick and attach the stand, but that will most likely void your warranty. I hope they can fix something.
