Fun to play with not read

The books are small enough for my 4 month old son to hold and knead which he loves. But I don't know who "wrote" them, the subjects are strange and the spelling/grammar is inconsistent. The book "Food" lists sweets and ice cream and also has a picture of what looks like a cross between a shrimp and a croissant? They are good as toys but not as books to read.

I bought these books for my 4-7 month old baby. I .

I bought these books for my 4-7 month old baby. I thought it was funny that a seahorse is called "hippocampus" and a chicken is called "tsok-tsok". They were a lot cheaper than the other books anyway, and I suppose these things won't scare my kid for the rest of her life, although she might have a hard time in kindergarten when she realizes chickens are real somewhere.

Are mushrooms vegetables?

I give 2 stars because some of the books are not bad. The material used is decent, but the stitching on some of them isn't very straight. My biggest problem are books that are supposed to be educational! - not very accurate. They have mushrooms in the veg book. The starfish is shown as a pentagon(?), and instead of an oval, the egg is shown as an ellipse. I think it's not entirely inaccurate, but why not use the more common oval instead? If you don't mind having tomatoes as the first page in…

Definitely recommended for children.

Bought for a 3 year old girl for Christmas because she loves to read but doesn't like regular books. All the books have that crispy plastic sound, so she loves it. Made of good material that seems to be quite durable and the stitching is well done too. I expected them to come with that horrible plastic smell but they didn't. This is a good buy for the price. Haven't washed them yet so not sure if the plastic inside will hold up to washing but we'll see. I wouldn't be mad if I had to buy them…

Good for pictures

So yes, the pictures are of course the most important thing. But better control would be nice. Guys, I understand the hype about machine translation - and as a professional translator I'm 95% sure it was machine translation - but you need a human editor. No one calls it "fancy deer" when they teach their kids what a deer is. It's just a deer, Japanese or something else. Although a human editor would have noticed. Just as they would determine that a turtle is not a turtle and an octopus is not a

Advertised inaccurately

Very disappointed in them, they were advertised as 'squeaky, rattling and crunchy'. There are no creaks or rattles, but they all make a rustling sound. Also some pages are a bit inaccurate. They call the seahorse Hippocampus, which is Latin for "seahorse," but I'm not trying to teach Latin to my eight-month-old baby right now. The sheep is actually a goat and the chickens say "chak-chak". I guess it doesn't matter if the pictures are inaccurate as my child will just put them in his mouth…

Budget fun for toddlers

My 6 month old son loves them but the advert definitely has some misleading information. "All books have hanging rings" Neither book has hanging rings. And they are different lengths and fabric colors. It's not a big deal for us, but it might bother some people. I've been sewing "All Cotton" for almost 30 years - if these books are made of cotton, then I'm the monkey's uncle. The fabric is most likely polyester and has a texture similar to wildlife parachutes. Light colored? Definitive…

Product description needs clarification

So they could be a bit clearer with the descriptions in these books. They are actually 2 sets of four books, each with different properties. The 1st set (Number, Animal, Vegetable, Underwater World) has bows, and only the front and back are crumpled. The two insides are only fabric. The second set (Character, Color, Food, Shapes) has no hinges and all four sides are crumpled. crumpled things in it (so 1/3 of the page is slightly crumpled, not the whole page). And when only half of the book is…
