Excellent WYSIWIG and ease to use content management system

I like how easy it was for me, even with my lack of experience in such things as HTML or CSS coding (even though there were tutorials available). It's also very user-friendly when you have no idea what your doing! The only downside so far has been getting used/learning about all these plugins which are made by people around us who know more than we do - but they're great at helping out where needed!! If anyone from our team ever needs help figuring something new up then just ask them :) We've…

Pros
  • Its free and so easy to use if anyone has used wikipedia before you'll know exactly how simple and easy it is to use!
Cons
  • I don't dislike it but I don't love it if you know how to use Microsoft Word that may be a good thing for you

Easy and simple software that does exactly what expected

It's very user friendly, I can easily edit my web pages by editing them in another page (e2). The support team is also great they are always there if you need it! Nothing so far but maybe could be improved for more complex tasks like adding attachments or images from remote sources (s3 etc.). If your looking into an easy way of creating content with little effort this would work well as most people dont know how to navigate wordpress/blogger properly anyway which leaves me wondering why we have

Pros
  • Free :D
  • Easy configuration simple interfaceEasy setupNo server administration needed.
  • Many options / plugins supportedGood documentationIntegration between wikis possibleVery good choice among hosting services available

Very powerful and flexible wiki software

I love how easy it was for me, an amateur user who had never used any type of web-based system before this one, to get started with dokuwiki! It's very intuitive - if you're new to wikis in general or even just text documents online, there are tutorials available right from within your installation page (or at least they were when we first set up our site). It has all the features we needed including formatting options like headers/footers etc., as well as builtin templates which allowed us to…

Pros
  • Easy interface; quick setup.
  • Allows simple changes through markup language only,
  • Intuitive UI makes learning more straightforward compared other wiki software such Wordpress et al
Cons
  • Minor Issues

DokuWiki - Easy-to-use Wiki Platform

DokuWiki is easy to use and has great features. I like that I can customize my wiki page to my liking. I like that I can link to external websites and that the layout is easy to follow. I dislike that I have to manually add the page to the website. It would be great if there was a way to add pages to DokuWiki through a webpage. I would recommend DokuWiki to anyone who is looking for a simple wiki. I am able to create a wiki page for each of my clients and have it be easily editable by myself…

Pros
  • Easy to understand
  • Customization options
  • Editing capabilities good editor from within your browser! (not as nice in other WYSIWs)
Cons
  • Very limited formatting/editors available

Easy to use and efficient software that gives great results

I like how easy it was for me, as an amateur computer user/writer of my own website (which has been up since 2002),to set everything right from scratch in just about no time at all! It's also very stable - not crashing or freezing when editing pages etc., which makes this web-based writing tool much more reliable than other similar products out there today.- The fact you can edit text directly with your mouse; so if typing mistakes do occur they are quickly corrected without having first have…

Pros
  • No cost to install
  • Great help guides provided online
  • Very helpful admin forum where experienced users give freely their expertise & experiences that may be valuable.
  • Easy navigation around site once registered
Cons
  • All fine

Accessibility/convenience-very user friendly; however there will be time someone could create something more elegant (and functional) just because they know how things work now instead of having read or learned about it via documentation first.--If you want people using dkipedia(I'm sure some already exist?) to view content without being forced through logon screens then get rid off what amounts to "logging" requirement...--This really would make Wikipedia look so much cleaner too!--You should…

Pros
  • Easy to use
  • User friendly
  • No log in required
Cons
  • No help for newbies
  • No help for advanced users
  • No help for people who are just curious
