Works as advertised, excellent product quality. (REVIEW 2/14/2020)

Perfect, great purchase. Gives me full USB 3.2 10Gb/s throughput, good product, well built. It took a while to find one, most of them are 3.1 5Gbps. Excellent purchase at this price.**************************************** 02/14/ 2020 Unfortunately I have to reconsider your review and downgrade it to one star. The hub was completely out of order over the weekend. I'm not sure if it was the power adapter or the hub itself, but it's completely dead. I had to plug an external USB drive directly…

Almost useless for computer accessories and peripherals

I know what you're looking for because I was at this stage and still am - a device that converts a USB-C port into many USB-C -Ports turned C is probably because you've invested in some USB-C connected devices and don't have enough ports on your computer and it's probably a Mac. (after several weeks of trying) does not work. First, it doesn't work with self-powered devices (such as an external USB hard drive powered by the port). Second, it doesn't work with media (e.g. external monitor or…

It's pretty unique.

I have a MacBook Pro and my biggest annoyance is that it only has four ports. Of course they are all USB-C, but only four. I don't know about you, but I use a lot of peripherals. I'm a graphics guy and between my Cintiq and HD and my SpaceMouse Pro I always need to charge something up quickly. I finally decided on a hub. I've had some with USB-A and HDMI, but then I didn't have USB-C. I found one who also returned my USB-C to me. However, that wasn't enough as there was always a port left to…

The only one I could find ok not so good

Firstly it was the only hub I could find with these ports. I needed 2+ USB A and C ports at 10G with a power adapter. I've been looking for a week and this is all I found. Well built although it's a bit odd that the ports aren't all on the same side of the device. When I used the included USB-CA cable to connect to my computer, my external drives ran at half speed, but when I used a different AC cable they worked fine, so I'm not sure what's wrong with this cable. The included C to C seems…

Short version: Works as advertised and gives you six additional USB 3.1/3.2 Gen 2 10Mbps Plus ports and all ports deliver advertised throughput. It's nice that it includes both Type-A and Type-C ports as this offers maximum flexibility for new devices and legacy devices alike. Like any USB hub, it doesn't need to be plugged in, it's safer to leave it plugged in whenever possible. Long version: I connected two of these to my Mac Mini so I can connect 4 external hard drive enclosures at the same…

Not Working - Computer Accessories & Peripherals

I connected this to my laptop (Macbook Pro 2017). I immediately get a popup saying it's not compatible with my computer. But the drive I connected to it was mounted and available on my desktop. I wasn't sure if the computer gave that warning when it was checking for drivers or something, but the attached drive was there. So I tried and tried to copy the disc. I have to mention. I edit and copy media for film and television. I move several terabytes of data per day. Each roll (drive) has tens of

So far this hub is the best I've found.

---- 8_2020 ----- This is a small update, but a necessary one. Something went wrong. I pulled out a USB-A cable and the connector fell apart. Rather, the inside of the port came out with the cable. I contacted them and asked if I was still under warranty. They responded the next day asking to confirm where the replacement should be. See what makes it better, I just plugged a USB-C to Ethernet adapter into this thing and I'm getting full speed like I plugged it in directly. I needed this direct…
