So far so good good for the electrics

Bought to fix a watt killer. That's the exact part. However, be careful when soldering as it can get very hot and render the fuse useless. I wrapped it in kitchen paper and soaked it in water.

Pros
  • Cartridge fuses
Cons
  • Short manual

For Kill-A-Watt EZ Power Meter repair

Thermal Fuse 99C 15A. I use them to fix my Kill-A-Watt EZ power meter. Caused overheating when attempting to control a 1500 watt heater. I would give five stars but one of the three was dead from the packaging.

Pros
  • Tools and Household Goods
Cons
  • Can't remember

Fixed my broken Kill a Watt unit

Exactly the part I needed to fix my Kill a Watt performance monitor. In my experience, all of these safety devices fail over time, not from overheating. It should open at 99 degrees Celsius or 210 degrees Fahrenheit. Am I 100% sure none of these error conditions have occurred? So if your power monitor is dead then this is what you need. Along with the ability to remove the old one and solder the new one back in. Suggestion: When soldering back to the board, grab the terminal of your soldering…

Pros
  • Electrical
Cons
  • High price
