The convenience of a portable device but lacks color accuracy and compatibility.

The AOPEN 16PM6Q portable IPS monitor is thin and light, making it easy to store in your laptop or backpack. It has a minimal bezel so it looks a bit modern. This monitor is great for business and multitasking. Or you can share the screen with family and friends as it offers good viewing angles. It can be used to display your photos and videos by connecting HDMI devices such as cameras directly to the monitor (HDMI only). One of the best features of the AOPEN 16PM6Q portable IPS monitor is that it can be tilted from 0ยฐ to 180ยฐ, making the position accessible to everyone. On one side of the monitor are 3 buttons for powering on and navigating to OSD options. On the opposite side there are 4 ports: MiniHDMI, USB Type-C video, USB Type-C power and a stereo jack. The USB Type-C video port can also be powered by the host device. This means that only one cable (video and power) is required for operation on compatible devices. When connecting devices via HDMI, you need an extra power adapter, and AOPEN portable monitor comes with a power adapter with a USB Type-C power adapter. Although the monitor requires an extra power adapter when connecting via HDMI, the included power adapter is could be a lot smaller, especially for a portable monitor that uses so little power. A power supply of this size is not required as it negates the portability of the monitor. I have 100W USB-C adapters that are 4 times smaller than the power adapter that came with this monitor. The OSD of the AOPEN 16PM6Q Portable IPS Monitor is included in the package. with many settings and you will need them if you want to match its colors to the main monitor. Working with the on-screen display (OSD) settings is a real pain. It's not that easy to navigate with those little buttons, and the OSD only stays on screen for two seconds. If someone isn't fast enough to read the options and press the button, they'll disappear. I have used hundreds of devices and have never experienced an OSD with such a short time. Most portable monitors have low brightness compared to regular monitors, and the AOPEN 16PM6Q IPS portable monitor is no different in this regard, offering only 250 nits. The AOPEN 16PM6Q IPS portable monitor worked well with Windows computers, but not with MacBook Pro or other Android devices. I even tried when they supported video over USB-C. I've tried several portable monitors and they all worked well with these devices. I spent hours playing around with different settings and got very close to the laptop's colors. I switched to Normal, Warm, Cool, then Custom, alternating between Red, Green, and Blue until I got the best match possible. , but the monitor still showed dark orange instead of red. By the way, I compared the AOPEN monitor with a cheap laptop with a similar 1080 IPS display and the colors look a bit washed out and I couldn't display the colors correctly. j. Things got even worse when I placed the AOPEN 16PM6Q portable IPS monitor next to the Dell XPS laptop display. You may not notice the color difference when you display different content on the AOPEN monitor than the main monitor or when you use it as a standalone display. like cctv camera monitor. So if you're not worried about color accuracy, the AOPEN 16PM6Q portable IPS monitor is for you. There are many portable monitors out there with better picture quality, color accuracy, more features, and they work on multiple platforms (Android, MacOS, and Windows).
