Great monitor, *FIXED VERTICAL BREAK SOLUTION*

So if you've read any of these reviews, most of the bad ones are due to the vertical tearing that occurs on this monitor when G-Sync is enabled. Fortunately, I found a working solution to this problem. First I will talk about it, and then move on to the review itself. If you're experiencing this, which seems to be the case for most people, there's a ridiculously simple fix. Out of the box this monitor worked great, but after about 2 weeks with no issues, a terrible crack appeared when I started playing a game with gsync. So I did the classic I wonder what happens if I turn it off and on again. It worked. You need to go into NVIDIA management settings, go to gsync and disable it. Sometimes the crack reappears. Disable gsync, restart your computer and enable it again. This should be fixed. I haven't had any issues with this fix so far, so I assume it will work on other monitors as well. This is my first ever 144Hz monitor so I have no comparison. At the same time, I have literally no complaints about this monitor. The price is insanely good for what this monitor can do. Once you've got all your settings right (by enabling 144Hz in the display settings, changing the color settings and other monitor controls) this monitor will look great and perform flawlessly. I have this other than a 4k monitor at 60hz and it has no problem working alongside another monitor. All in all, if you're worried that you're going to have this tearing problem that you're most likely going to get, there's a solution, and it's a simple one. However, it's annoying that you spend $500 on a monitor and you know it will come defective, but all you know is that there's an incredibly simple fix. So unless you're willing to bump your budget another $100 to get another monitor that's as good as this one, you'll have little to no trouble getting this monitor and can give it to you Recommend with confidence as you have a moderate amount of troubleshooting and general computing experience.
