Monitor issues that lasted only a year

I bought this monitor to use with my PS4 Pro for 4K gaming. When I first used the monitor, I had problems right from the start. The monitor flickered randomly throughout the game. I contacted Revain and we did a replacement which was quick and painless. I've had the monitor for a little over a year now and I'm noticing bleeding in all four corners of the monitor and I can also see bleeding a little on the left side. The picture above shows it's even worse. 3 year monitor warranty. I contacted Asus through their website and it was nice and easy to run a few quick diagnostic checks to make sure it was the monitor. They even helped start an RMA to send the monitor back for repair. The only cost to the customer is the cost of packaging for the return. It has been a week since I sent the monitor back for repair and I received an email saying I sent them the wrong serial number. I sent the information from the box and apparently it was different than the monitor itself. I then received a full bill for the monitor due to physical damage behind the screen. I made a bet and showed them the picture I posted here in the review. You can see that there is no physical damage on the outside of the monitor, screen damage or anything. They said it still counts as physical damage. I told them to keep it. Asus is not for customers, I would get it if there was physical evidence of damage but there isn't. From what I understand they damaged it when they removed the screen. For the money I spent on the monitor I was hoping for better quality. This suggests that a higher price does not mean better quality. I replaced this monitor with a 24.5 inch Scepter monitor for less than $200 and am far happier with it than I am with this product in the works. I will never buy Asus products again because I just don't trust their quality. The monitor was not user friendly and difficult to adjust to be comfortable on the eyes. At first I gave them a rating of 3 but due to this experience I increased it to 1.
