Not for first use of clutch fan on cars with no history

Worked but broke and fell off. The work failed. Only recommended if your car has already had a clutch fan replacement and you know the nut will turn. I do not recommend changing the clutch fan for the first time on a recently used car with no history.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Very expensive

Working with minor modification

Would be 5 stars but the pulley holding tool has no pins so you have to do your own setup to fit the pulley holes. Otherwise the wrenches are fine for the job, only the pulley tool falls short. The pen is visible in the photo but the pen is not.

I don't think I could do without it.

I tried to break the nut with other applications and it was frustrating and didn't work. I needed a key for 36. The holder didn't fit me and I had to modify it. I just pulled the strap tight and hit it hard with a small sledgehammer and it came loose. I canceled the reinstallation. So for me it was enough with a wrench. Great product for the price.

Improvements I made to the fan clutch tool.

The quality of the key set was very satisfactory. My clutch fan assembly was tight enough that a pull rod on the wrench was required. The ranch was unaffected by the use of the fraudulent bolt. But I modified the tool used to hold the fan pulley. Watch the video of this tool to see the modification. I installed Eclipse held drill rod pins instead of using screws to remove the clutch assembly. I was very pleased that the lease remained in place while the fan assembly was removed.

Waste of money and time

I bought this product to remove the radiator fan clutch from my SUV. It has failed me. It also didn't work for the other three people I asked for their help as the part was obviously very tight and wouldn't move. The last person I asked for help was driving me nuts because we both heard a click and thought it was a loose fan clutch. No, it is the key itself that is cracked! The other two pieces that came with this set turned out to be useless. And I ordered it taking into account the…
