Description of ABN Wheel Stud Installer Remover Tools & Equipment

ROTATING BEARING PREVENTS DAMAGE: While other installation methods use washers or nuts to pull a stud into place, doing so can put excessive strain on the stud, and can cause it to stretch and fatigue and could lead to premature failure; These Bolt Installation Tools are designed with rotating bearings that ride on the hub so the bolt slides easily and accurately into place; this rotating design prevents damage by eliminating some friction that other methods can cause. HEAVY DUTY: ABN’s Wheel Stud Puller Installer Tool is designed to make replacing damaged bolts, broken lug nuts, stripped and rusted studs a breeze; The stud kit is equipped with 2 heavy duty thrust bearing to easily pull the new wheel studs into place; Thanks to the flat bottom design, it ensures that the stud is fully seated and that no damage is done to the threaded portion of the stud. GREAT FIT FOR YOUR VEHICLE: This stud socket tool set includes 2 sized installer tools, the larger can fit studs up to 7/8” (2.2cm) in diameter and the smaller can fit up to 9/16” (1.4cm) in diameter; these tools are also noted to work with Hubs, Rotors and Axles on Both Front and Rear Wheel Drive Vehicles. EASY TO USE: The lug stud installer tools are damaged bolt remover and extractor tool that are designed to be easy to use; Use the broken bolt extractor set to remove the problem stud; Pop the new stud from the back of the empty hole on your hub, slide on the ABN Installer Tool and tighten using an impact wrench or ratchet. CHEAP, ACCURATE, SAFE: The wheel stud socket tools are designed to be incredibly easy to use in comparison to other wheel lug stud installation tools; Not only are they cheaper than taking to a mechanic or using a hydraulic press, but they’re also more accurate than using cheaper options like washers or nuts; Using these tools are also safer and faster than some of the other options available.

Great tool! in tire and wheel tools

Two sizes perfect. The thrust bearing makes it easier to pull out the new stud. Absolutely great device and I would buy it again.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

Worth the price.

This is great. For bearings, don't ruin the nuts the way washers do. Should have bought years ago. I run a tire shop and use them all the time.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • I'm worried

Works like a champ: Tire and wheel tools

I've used several different types of bolt drivers in the past, this one seems to work well when used between the hub and bolt on trucks and , like the back side of the car, which damages the nut a little because the flange is not bevelled.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Something else

Good tool, but deceptive.

Stud Installer works great and at a good price. However, I would like to mention that this is just a bolt installer. This is not all that is said in the ad. Damaged bolts, broken bolts, wheel studs, etc. will not be removed.

Pros
  • Cool Product
Cons
  • Disappear

A "must have " for any serious mechanic's tool kit.

I sent the hub to local company Blacks Tire and they completely screwed up the bolt installation. Back then, with 2 tons in the rear of the Dually, we almost lost a tyre/wheel on the road. If I had this tool, I would never have sent a hub to even get the job done. Now it's properly fixed and I just love this tool. A+

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Good but not great
