The cable appears to work well but there is a horrible exhaust smell from the plastic used which has persisted since I opened the box. The cable is also very rigid and inflexible. Bought an anchor cable right away, so let's see how good both are.

These cables smell like raw tar, pressed crude oil and burnt tires to make the stinkiest cheap rubber imaginable. The whole room stinks and it takes forever to finish the gassing. Unless you use it outdoors, AVOID it!

This cable charges my phone much more than the one I used. Obviously, efficiency is a very important property of a charging cable. One thing that annoys me about cables is when they hang where you plug them in. I hate when they fall out easily and that's definitely not the case with this line. It's a pretty tight grip. The smell emanating from this thing is so strong and disgusting that even the telephone cord is confusing. I bought a USB-C to Lightning cable from Revain Basics last year and it works great.
