I've been tracking these little boards for days and found that about 5 percent of the time they just crash and have no sound for a few seconds during reboot. Bonus: You will be reset to the MAXIMUM VOLUME WHICH WILL BREAK YOUR DRUMS AT THE NEXT BEEP WHEN YOU DON'T EXPECT IT. They seem to play audio well intermittently: e.g. B. play a sound, wait a second, play another sound. I think that sending too much data to the boards too fast could overload the serial connections and cause the boards to…

Scrap, none of the five worked. None of them were turned on using the DFPlayer Mini documentation for power and file selection. None worked!

4/5 were DOA. The other died after a month.

Simply put, they didn't fit me at all. The first one I tried worked fine at first, but after about a month the light became very dim and there was no sound. I tried the other 4 and they are all DOA; The indicator lights up when they're installed, but it just stays on and doesn't play any sound. I tried to fix this problem but there is 0 information about this problem. Maybe I got an unsuccessful batch, I can't say for sure, but I won't buy this brand again.

3 out of 5 were DOA

I've used quite a few of these. They are very hit and miss in quality. Sometimes all 5 work, sometimes 4 out of 5. In this game 2 out of 5 worked.

Good product; Excellent quality; and great price!

I have purchased and used several Arduino type sound modules. I've found that each of them has various disadvantages, including cost, size, and functionality. In search of a sound module that best suits my various projects and experimental needs, I tried DFPlayer Mini. This device has a footprint of about 0.75 inches, is easy to use and has many programming functions. This unit also includes an audio amplifier for direct speaker control and line out options for an external amplifier. The volume
