Excellent tape, suitable for industrial sealing

This is the perfect pipe sealing tape to have in your toolbox when you need it. I bought a new shower head and needed one, I saw a great price and ordered it. Worked perfectly and did the right thing. You will never lose it either, as the outer plastic is white and the roll that the tape is on is light blue. Beautiful bright color that will always draw your attention to this ribbon when needed. I'm glad I bought it.

Pros
  • For wrapping pipe threads to make airtight and watertight connections
Cons
  • Can't remember

It works great with things you use plumbing tape on!

It's water tape! I used it around my very old shower faucet where I wanted to install a detachable shower head. I tried installing the head without tape, but the water just flowed out of where the fitting touched the head. I applied a very small amount of tape (about two coats) around the fitting and reinstalled the head. Water no longer drips out of the nozzle. That was about 2 months ago and still no problems.

Pros
  • White PTFE tape
Cons
  • Not sure

Here it is: pipe sealing tape!

What can I add to the surprising amount of feedback on this base product? The tape has a subtle, crisp whiteness that we hope is never seen as it seals into the threaded fittings of your plumbing. But the purity of the white is well accentuated by the fresh blue of the plastic roller. Why duct tape is so often sold in blue plastic rolls is one of life's little mysteries. Think about this as you unwrap the white tape around the threads of what you want to seal. Probably a shower head. This tape…

Pros
  • Not for use with Gas Line
Cons
  • Drill Kit
