Great Value - USB Port Cards

The speeds were just under the USB 3.1 connector. Installed in my wife's Rosewill Redbone case. A great way to add modern and/or additional interfaces to an old case!

Pros
  • Best in their niche
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Excellent USB Front Panel

Hima's 5.25 inch USB 3.1 front panel works well to provide USB ports on the front panel. We appreciated the presence of a USB Type-C port, as well as USB 2.0 and USB 3.1 Type-A ports. There are not many such devices with a USB Type-C port. We have tested all USB ports and they work perfectly. The cables and connectors appear to be of good quality and the cords are quite long. While the panel appears gray in the image, it's black, consistent with our other 5.25-inch devices. We didn't test the…

All ports work correctly

Easy to install. The included cables work flawlessly with the MSI X570 MEG Unify and are long enough to reach the front of the full-height Cooler Master HAF tower.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Unsure

Easy installation - plastic problem

I bought this product to fill an empty hole in my computer and provide extra USB slots. It fit my case perfectly and worked as advertised. The only reason I'm deducting a star is that the product comes with a protective plastic film that you can remove, which is usually fine so that scratches, dust, etc. don't affect the quality of the product. However, the plastic was bolted to the product, so prior to installation I had to undo the bolts to remove it, which was a bit of a hassle and (in my…

But works great. - I/O connector cards

This is a good front panel hub due to the variety of connectors. I love that it has USB 2.0 and 3.1 Type A and C ports. And while I won't be using the headphone and mic ports, it's nice to know they're included. I would love it if this panel had an SD card reader as well, but I guess life can't have everything. The only thing I don't like about this panel is that you can only attach it to your case by the front half as the back half doesn't have any side panels that go all the way to the back…

Audio was DOA out of the box

I'm an engineer and I build and fix computers for low income families. USB worked fine, speaker and microphone didn't work right away. All cables had continuity.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • Minor issues

Good interior

I've been building in the same old case for a long time and the original 2.0 and audio connections stopped working. 3.0 and Type-C did not exist yet. This is a clean solution for adding USB Type-C along with 2.0, 3.0, headphones and microphone. I think it's Type-C Gen 1 and my motherboard has a Type-C Gen 2 connector but it's plugged in and working. I don't know if it's using it's full potential, but I only connect my phone to transfer photos, so I don't care.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Too long to wait
