Type of review

FYI This review is for the N400 120GB 42mm drive. This drive is SMALL and suitable for thin laptops. I actually bought it because it was the cheapest 42mm SSD I've ever seen and I have a really crappy laptop that I use it on. It was the type that came with one of those 32GB eMMC drives built in. When I first plugged it in, my computer didn't recognize it, it didn't show up in My Computer. This doesn't mean the drive is defective, it just means it hasn't been initialized and hasn't been assigned

Pros
  • Ease of Use
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Stay away from these low-life products!

Broken after a few weeks of use, not even formatted. The capacity shown is only 2GB. Contact the seller and ship back to China at your own expense to update the firmware. It ends up costing more than other brands of cards, so never use cheap Chinese drives/memory again!

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Tape

Works well. Fast drive with small capacity.

My downside (which is really small) is that the screw that comes with it is loose so the screw falls out as soon as you open the box. Since I opened it up just above my laptop's logic board, the screw got caught in the gap between the logic board and the battery, which could have been potentially disastrous if I hadn't heard and found it. It's a lot faster than the tiny 16GB. the drive that came with my Chromebook and I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Unreliable, no guarantee

This SSD failed after a few months of sporadic use. No response from the manufacturer regarding warranty issues. Don't waste your time, money or risk your data. Get an SSD from a more trusted brand/manufacturer.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Expensive

So far, so good. Works fine on my laptop.

So far so good. This works fine on my laptop which is supposed to boot from the m.2 slot first. Not the fastest drive out there, but worth the money as my laptop only supports SATA 2242 m.2 drives. Leave 4/5 stars as unsure about warranty support, drive life etc. Edit: Update 2020 No support from parent company after drive failure. I thought it might happen. Try to find a well-known brand if you can.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Something different

Affordable and works great

I've already bought one with less storage and it worked so well I bought the same 1TB model. I bought an enclosure and am using 512GB for a portable drive

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Functionality

Works great in computers and accessories

Perfect for my Toshiba Chromebook 2 with a 16GB card. I wish all Chromebooks could be updated this way. I got a memory error but nothing more. I installed a 120GB card. Don't forget to back up your system files first!

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Has flaws

Does what it's supposed to

Works well. I bought a refurbished HP Elite book with a very slow SSD and replaced it with another to improve performance. It worked well with OS transfer cloning software. Loads well, hasn't reported any errors in a month of moderate use. I don't know what the life expectancy is, it's not an Enterprise DC class device, but so far so good.

Pros
  • Useful for more than it's intended purpose
Cons
  • Confused

Bargain Internal SSD

After researching Revain and the web we found this drive to be the best value for a similar capacity. I installed it in a Lenovo laptop without too much pathos and was recognized immediately. No questions.

Pros
  • Full Kit
Cons
