Warming with this blanket is uneven; and throws badly

I have never had an electric blanket. I was wrong thinking they would give off the same heat as a heating pad. nope Heating pads heat up to around 140 degrees Fahrenheit. This electric blanket only heats up to 113 degrees Fahrenheit. Once I got used to it, I found that I couldn't be disappointed that this duvet couldn't quickly warm my cold feet.
