Great charging hub for Dell Latitude 7480

I had to work from home and wanted a good setup for my Dell Latitude 7480 work laptop. Dell branded USB-C hub I bought at the Work for over $200 I was looking for an alternative. My requirements were USB-C connectivity, charging my laptop, HDMI, Ethernet, and multiple USB 3 ports for connecting peripherals. I need to use my computer, I just connect my laptop via 1 USB-C port. My laptop charges easily and has no trouble connecting to a 1080p monitor at 75Hz, as well as a keyboard, mouse…

It's good when it works, which is less than half the time.

I bought this dock when my wife and I transitioned to the new 13 inch XPS 2-in-1s that were released late last year. At the same time I bought a Lenovo graphics dock. Lenovo has worked flawlessly every time my wife and I have plugged it in, while this dock is so unreliable that I expected it to fail. The main issue is connecting a second display - that's the main reason I wanted a docking station . I tried to fix it. I tried DVI, HDMI, new drivers - nothing works. I followed the instructions on

Not all ports/ports work but work better than my latest HP Dock

I initially had trouble using the video display ports on this unit, both HDMI and VGA. Since my laptop has the right ports to support 3 extended monitors from my laptop, giving me a 4th display, I wasn't too upset as the other ports worked fine. However, having recently visited the Pluggable website, specifically their community board they monitor, I read about a driver update to fix issues with the latest Windows 10 full update "DisplayLink” without knowing what the Results would be after…

Works great with several laptops

I have tested this with 3 different Dell laptops and they all work great including the power supply. Even laptops that come with an AC adapter over 60W will work with 60W of power from the docking station, although the battery may charge more slowly. Dell laptops have a BIOS setting that disables the boot warning that you are using the wrong power supply. can burn down your house. The device itself works great too. Interestingly, it runs cooler than some of my USB 3 hubs. I've tested HDMI up to

Good product and great support!

Purchased for use with Macbook Pro (A1707, 15" model, Mid 2017) and Dell Latitude 7480. Power over USB-C and USB peripherals) worked except for the wired Gigabit Ethernet port. According to the box, the ethernet chipset is a Realtek RTL8153, so I installed the Realtek OS X driver and the problem was solved. Dell Latitude 7480 worked without additional drivers. USB-C charging is rated at 3A at 20V, which is slightly lower than the OEM chargers for both laptops, but more than enough to keep the…
