Description of ๐Ÿ”ง Enhance Your Arduino Projects with Qunqi 2Packs Stepper Controller

Dual-channel H-bridge driver working mode creates higher working efficiency,L298N as main chip. Can drive one 2-phase stepper motor, one 4-phase stepper motor or two DC motors. To avoid damage the voltage stabilizing chip, please use an external 5V logic supply when using more than 12V driving voltage. Use large-capacity filter capacitors and diode with freewheeling protection function, increasing reliability. High working power to 35v,large current can reach 3A MAX and continue current is 2A, power to 25w. Large capacity filter capacitance, afterflow protection diode, more stable and reliable.

The driver module works, but the chip gets very hot.

I used this for a stepper motor project with Arduino. It works fine, but the driver chip gets very hot with long-term use. The stepper motor I'm using (bipolar) is rated at 0.8A with a 6.8 ohm winding. I am running the driver with a 24VDC power supply. A handy feature of this driver is the onboard 5V DC output, which I use to power the Arduino. hot. From what I've read it looks like a PWM driver would be the best choice. But at least I have a backup in case the driver module fails. It's also aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • large-capacity filter capacitor, residual current protection diode, more stable and reliable.
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

They work, just remember to ground them on the Arduino board.

This device was used to control the motors of an RC car I'm building with an Arduino. This product basically has a big plus and a notorious minus

This product basically has one great advantage and a notorious disadvantage. First, the big plus of these motor drivers is their ease of use. Hook up a power supply and two small DC motors and this thing will do wonders. It had no problem driving the small 5V 0.20A DC motor that comes with the Arduino starter pack. AnalogWrite() had excellent resolution. I don't think these small motors draw more than 0.35A under load, so this motor driver seems to fit. A slight disadvantage of these motorโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High working power up to 35V, large current can reach 3A MAX and constant current is 2A, power up to 25W.
Cons
  • No power
