This product represents excellent value for money. A $20 kit with all of these tools is amazing value, but the quality may not last as long as other high-end tool kits. I would recommend this to anyone looking to take on a home networking project or even a small office.

I've used the crimping tool, punch, stripper and tester and they all worked fine. However, after a few months and about 100 crimped connectors, the tester showed errors on newly crimped cables (interruptions on several pins). Originally I wanted to buy punching tools and buy all the elements for sockets. As soon as I saw this kit I decided to buy sockets with Cat 5e keystone jacks/jacks so I could easily plug them in. Crimping tool handle was bent only 5 times after crimping. This made it impossible to cut the wires as the cutting blade wasn't straight. The gold contacts simply fell out on four of the six RJ45 crimp connectors. Also, some pins did not align well in the crimping tool so they would not crimp. Only one problem with this kit, the crimping tool is just sad. The fingers inserting the pins do not match the pins on the connectors. Also, most of the time you cannot close the tool. It took me more time to fiddle with the tool than it took to actually crimp. The rest of the kit is suitable for casual users. There is no way I would want to use it every day.
