More and more electronic devices use Micro SD media. Similarly, more and more computers, tablets, and smartphones have USB-C ports. Hence, there is a growing need for Micro SD to USB-C adapters. These adapters are relatively cheap and have decent bandwidth. However, there is a grinding noise when the USB-C end is inserted, which indicates that the USB-C end is too large. I have been using this device for several weeks. Last night I accidentally put my SD card in the device upside down. TL;DR, that would be a good (and fast) OTG adapter, but it wouldn't be bulletproof and I wouldn't recommend long-term install, it unless it is well protected.
