TL;DR, that would be a good (and fast) OTG adapter, but it wouldn't be bulletproof and I wouldn't recommend long-term install, it unless it is well protected. ShapeGood: Fits well in a phone (even with a case) due to the spacing between the Type-C ports. Bad: The adapter is a bit long and the SD card sticks out halfway. If it is semi-permanent use (DVR or security camera), I would strongly recommend going with a shorter design and making the SD card more secure. BuildGood: Consistent quality, no excessive heat (some expected from the SD card itself, it's actually cooler than most of my readers, maybe due to the reader's size) Bad: There's nothing to protect the Type-C connector is quite long. I wanted to carry this in my bag but I'm afraid it will break. Speed Very good for the price. It's not as fast as my best USB readers (using the same SD card), but very close (less than 5% slower). It is unlikely that anything will change in the real world.
