Review on Jaxx Wallet by Billy Martin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Jaxx Wallet - A Best and advanced multi-coin wallet.

Easy graphical user interface and some good pairings and used shapeshifter to transfer between currencies, so you can trade currencies either. The interface was clear, clean and well laid out with some nice options too. Third-party apps like ShapeShift were built in to the wallet. Instantly buy and sell supported digital assets including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and many others.
A diagram showing how integrated third-party apps like ShapeShift add peer-to-peer exchange between supported assets. Good for Bitcoin and Ethereum.
You could check your asset balance, track individual coins and tokens, and follow value changes. I could get fast, friendly customer support from our User Success Team 7 days a week, and you could check balances and transaction data across multiple blockchains in Jaxx which is to be expected.

At last, jaxx is best cryptocurrency for mobile phone users and those users who wanna use wallet in extentions like metamask.

Pros
  • I've used Jaxx for 3 years now, and I have no serious complaints. That in itself is huge for an app of this nature.
  • I love that it has such a vast number of coins and tokens it can store
  • The UI is customise-able to only show the coins you have, and the way it displays their value is nice too. It makes keeping track of portfolios very easy.
  • Built in shape shift; low fee coin swaping built right into the product. Fantastic
  • Easy backup and restore utility
  • Displays cached information if you have no internet connection, as opposed to showing no information, which is a big pros.
  • Lightweight and easy to use & Intuitive and user friendly
  • It also constantly gives you new addresses to use based on your seed, and you can of course still use the old ones. This is great for security.
Cons
  • Backups of jaxx aren't very well secured, and are only really as secure as your system.
  • Sometimes there is a lot of lag and latency when receiving and sending payments, plus the transaction history section is rarely accurate.
  • It isn't open source, so the inner workings are not public knowledge. This is a big negative in the crypto sphere.
