Review on 🌟 Close-Up Freshening Red Gel Toothpaste: Whitening Cinnamon - Pack of 8 (8-Ounce Tubes) by Josh Gerhardt

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They still make the original Cinnamon Close-Up Toothpaste!

This brand of toothpaste is difficult to find in most stores today. Crest and Colgate are common brands but I've never liked them because they taste bad. I also don't want abrasives in my toothpaste. Silica gel is found in many toothpastes as a whitening ingredient, but it wears away tooth enamel. My teeth are not perfectly aligned or white but my dentist says they are still in great shape. Maybe it's the genes or maybe it's the calcium in all the milk I still drink. I don't brush my teeth or go to the dentist as often as I should - shame on me! But having Close-Up handy motivates me to brush my teeth more often. I love the great taste of cinnamon! This is the original Close-Up invented in 1967 as the very first gel toothpaste. It still has the same great cinnamon flavor and I love the smooth gel consistency. Think about it, this isn't toothpaste; It's tooth gel! I've bought a lot recently because of the great price and it never seems to go bad. I found an old close-up tube in a warehouse the other day that should be at least ten years old, but it's still like new. Until Unilever changes the formula I should have plenty of toothpaste for years to come. I despise Unilever for downsizing all of their products, but I love Close-Up. Best Foods mayonnaise is no longer sold by the gallon, I Can't Believe It's Not Butter is no longer a full pound, and Breuer's Ice Cream is no longer a half-gallon. But Close-Up is again sold in standard 8-ounce tubes. It must be because Church and Dwight are doing it now, not evil Unilever. Oooh!
