Good product! for industrial adhesives

At first I was very skeptical. I typically use 3M 90 Contact Cement for cabinet paneling at my cabinet repair shop. I had a client with chemical sensitivity and had to try 30NF. It worked phenomenally well! It is much easier and quicker to apply 30NF with a roller or brush than to mask 90 spray booths. 30NF requires 2 coats but I have found that it dries much faster than the recommended 30 minutes between coats. It seems to stick better than 90 for my specific application.

Pros
  • Non-flammable when wet
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Use this with a sticky roller for the perfect job!

It worked very, very well! I was able to relaminate my 8ft countertop and a second smaller countertop using some leftover material. I also made aprons for both of them. One thing that helped a lot was the Bestt Liebco 588950700 Tru Pro Frieze Nylon Loop Roller Cover. When I made the longer table top I used a longer pile roller and it was difficult to get an even finish so product was wasted and took a long time to cure. But for the second one I use the Besktt Liebco Freize Roller and it gave me

Pros
  • Adhesive can be sprayed on, brushed on or rolled on
Cons
  • Drill package

Best Contact Adhesive

I was working on an RV project that required me to build panels. These panels were made from a wooden frame with styrofoam sandwiched between two pieces of luan. I've done this type of project before and used 3M 1357 glue (a really great glue) to glue the luan to the wood frame and I used spray glue to glue the styrofoam to the plywood. The reason I had to use two glues for this project is that 1357 melts the foam. 3M 30 NF Fastbond melts most types of foam. I use this glue for gluing parts…

Pros
  • Bonds most foam plastics, plastic laminates, wood, plywood and canvas to and from each other
Cons
  • Available in black only
