I bought these for my small hands aged 4 and 7 to play retro games on the Batocera system. They are surprisingly very good considering how small they are. I immediately updated the firmware and connected it to the Batocera via Bluetooth using Start + X. No crashes or connection issues. They're great for Mario Kart, but not for games like Street Fighter. Overall I am very satisfied and will buy controllers from 8BitDo again in the future.

I thought I understood how small this controller would be, but I didn't consider how flimsy would affect the grip. Not only is it small, but it's also very thin, which makes holding the controller very uncomfortable. This is a plus for portability, so it might be more of a plus than a minus for someone else.
