DOES NOT TANGLE or rust

I love it ! It’s better than the last one we bought. It doesn’t twist up and tangle on itself. The last one my husband bought at a pet food store and paid ALOT for it, always twisted and tangled. It ended up rusting and came apart. This one we’ve had no issues, and my big boy seems to like it better too. It’s not as heavy and thick. Don’t be fooled by its looks it seems thin but it’s very strong. I have 3 large labs plus visiting dogs. My 100+ lb boy doesn’t want to stay in his yard he would…

Pros
  • Very durable, plenty long enough. Too tough to chew through. Quality material.
Cons
  • My great

Quick, Easy, strong connectors

Love the clip type connector! Bigger size is easier to attach dogs collar than the small kind on a leash. Love the Quick connect .

Pros
  • Whether you're camping, hiking, or simply enjoying a day at the park, this tie out cable provides peace of mind knowing your dog is safe and secure
Cons
  • The cable may create a tripping hazard for humans

Non-rotating clips best in my review

The quality of this item is great. The only reason i didn’t give it 5 stars, was that the clips do not rotate, so the cable twists up quickly. This would be better marketed as a ‘runner only’ item

Pros
  • The XiaZ 120Ft Rust-Proof Tie Out Cable provides a safe and secure way for your dog to enjoy the outdoors without the worry of them running off or getting lost
Cons
  • Not recommended for use with dogs who suffer from separation anxiety

Great lead! Bought two!

My Australian Shepherd has eaten through quite a few leads. So far these have stood the test of time.love the closure also that can be locked into place.

Pros
  • The swivel hooks on this tie-out cable allow for easy attachment and adjustment, giving you greater control over your dog's outdoor experience
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with dogs with sensitive skin

Well made and they don’t tangle!

The dogs can’t chew thru these wires. , they r tangle free and they come in different sizes so u can decide how Much length u want to give them to run .

Pros
  • Designed with safety in mind, this tie-out cable provides you with the confidence you need to let your dog explore the outdoors
Cons
  • The hooks may trap the dog's fur or skin

Perfect for allowing our BIG Alaskan Malamute to roam the lawn in front of our home, and still be able to get onto our porch to snooze in the shade when he doesn’t feel like hanging out on the grass. I can throw him a toy and he can run around like nuts without worrying me about snapping a lead. He even ran to the end, or about two-inches past it, and got reminded that he was staked by a big corkscrew-type ground anchor. No problem! It’s perfect for us until we get a fence installed next summer

Pros
  • With its rust-proof design, this tie-out cable is perfect for use in areas with high humidity or near saltwater, where other cables may quickly corrode
Cons
  • The cable may become tangled with the dog's legs or paws

Cable is good, but clasps are weak.

Great length of strong cable and durable coating but clasps gave out after a couple of months, they couldn't handle my 60lb Aussie chasing after cats and squirrels.

Pros
  • 120 FEET SIZE: The length for dog run cable is 120ft long, you can use dog tether to keep them safe in camping, park, yard, Garden and other outdoor activities. Extra longer and stronger for medium dogs.
Cons
  • Not suitable for use with aggressive dogs

Great latching system

Unlike some clasps, this one can be secured, so you're confident your dog won't escape due to a faulty clasp. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Whether you're at the beach, the park, or out in the wilderness, this tie-out cable provides a safe and secure way for your dog to enjoy the great outdoors
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with elderly dogs

Clip too big for tiny dog

This looks great but I had to return it because my 7-lb yorkiepoo will be weighed down by the heavy carabiner hook. They should make a light carabiner available. It’s a swivel hook permanently attached so there was no way to switch it out myself.

Pros
  • UPGRADED CLIPS: XiaZ dog cable design 360° swivel clips and locked clasp with high grade zinc alloy, ultra strong and lightweight, allows 360°rotate at any time, your dogs will be able to move happily and safely around you without getting all tangled up.
Cons
  • The cable may become entangled with other pets nearby

First one I bought was perfect in every way, and still worked for the dog, but due to high winds, I ended up using it to anchor one side of my car port to a tree. So I bought a Second one just for the dog to replace the one I re-purposed. Though identical in every way, THIS one had very sharp burrs that were not ground down on both buckle screw clasps. This unbeknownst to me, put a 2 inch cut in the finger. After cleaning, then gluing my cut closed, I ended up filing the sharp pointy burrs down

Pros
  • B08LL9FM78
Cons
  • Not suitable for dogs who chew or bite on cables

this is the worst run, it twist and it hard to untangle. it doesn't have a twist connection so it starts to twist the dog collar. My dog was able to break this after one month because it twist and the plastic breaks and then the metal rusts and frays. DO NOT recommend this at all

Pros
  • ANTI-RUST AND REFLECTIVE: The vinyl covered dog leads for yard and all hardwares are made to protect against rain and rust. Reflective cable coating reflects light at night or in low light, providing additional safety for dogs.
Cons
  • The cable may come undone from the hooks

Great dog runner. good for me

Great line for dog tie out. Very sturdy, it would take a very determined dog to chew through this line. The clasp is strong but difficult to secure when muddy or covered in sand.I will order again.

Pros
  • Unlike traditional leashes that can feel restrictive, this tie out cable allows your dog to enjoy the freedom of being outside while still being safely tethered
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in areas with high traffic

Warning: This has no swivels so it gets twisted!

This does not have any swivels to it so the cable gets all twisted up. If you buy this you will need to buy extra hardware that swivels. (like I had to do) I have a 90 pound pitbull and a Malinois/Shephard mix that need to be outside to get sun and exercise. I liked that it could hold up to 250 pounds tho the cable is NOT thick. I just received them so I'm not too confident that it will last. Time will tell

Pros
  • The rust-proof design of this tie-out cable means it requires very little maintenance, making it a convenient option for pet owners
Cons
  • The cable may get caught on objects in the environment

Great length plastic wears off

We use this for our 90 pound 1 year old Alaskan malamute while he is out front of our house that isn’t fenced in or when we go camping. It is a great length and doesn’t get wrapped up easily on everything. Unfortunately the plastic coating has worn off on many spots and I am concerned that the wires inside might start to splint which could be harmful to our dog and to us handling it. For now it is great and we use it a lot. Hoping it continues to work and lasts a long time regardless of the…

Pros
  • Whether you have a small, medium, or large dog, this tie-out cable is designed to be used with dogs of varying sizes and breeds
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with dogs who like to run or jump

Just what I needed good for me

My 2 thirty pounds dogs come with me on road trips and camping and when setting up camp I started hiking these tie outs to the car shop the dogs could go inside or out as they wanted. Perfect way to be hands free while still having them under control and safe.

Pros
  • although the plastic covering is chewable the cable itself is sturdy and holds up well
Cons
  • Will not be able to handle a large dog. The cable too thin.

This is great for our 100 plus dog. The carabiner can a pain to hook and unhook to the collar, so we purchased a spring hook for that end. Overall great!

Pros
  • Our Great Dane loves to chase deer and she has never broken this one
Cons
  • Rust-proofing may not be effective in humid or wet environments

Solid, quality cable, with some long-term durability concerns.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You will notice two images attached to this review. Both images have stories behind them, and it is imperative that you consider them in context. If you can't/don't want to read this full review, disregard the images and only read the title or the summary at the end. Thanks. At the time of writing this review, I have purchased seven (7) of these cables for my two dogs, all of which are the 250lbs/20ft variety. One dog is a 55-pound big boi, and the other is a miniature Australian

Pros
  • With its stylish design, this tie-out cable looks great and will complement any outdoor setting, making it a great addition to any pet owner's outdoor gear
Cons
  • The cable may interfere with the dog's natural movements and behavior

It's good - my new review

But its not too safe, because my dog got crazy and wants to run. So he runs around me and it made some cuts on my legs. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • XiaZ
Cons
  • May not be suitable for longer periods of outdoor use

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not sure what happened to the quality of this item.

I have purchased this item a few times and have been satisfied however this time they are not good. Within a week the plastic coating started breaking which allows ( and encourages) the cable to start tightly twisting up. This did happen once before but only after aprox. a year. I only use it to let my 80# dog outside to do his business and come back in. The newest purchase is no where near the quality of the older ones.

Pros
  • With its 120-foot length, this tie-out cable is perfect for backyard playtime, camping trips, or other outdoor adventures
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in areas with wildlife or other hazards
