Spend more on Delco AC

Quality is acceptable but the cable is actually a bit long and the two cable locking mechanism doesn't fit nearly as well as the Delco AC version.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Weight

Works but sloppy

Works but band switching is not as clear as the original. The mechanic couldn't use the white plastic clip because it didn't fit and had to use an old clip from a broken GM cable. The bottom line is that it works, but it can't adapt to work like the original.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

Some parts do not work as intended.

Two halves do not fit. To get the truck on the road I had to downsize the connector end to fit. This worked, but the new problem is that it is not possible to receive all transfers. You must either lower the park or the 1st. Extremely poor quality control in my opinion.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Can't get 1st and park

Installed and spent 3 hours adjusting it to get 1st and park but once you had it in the right place it kicked in neither one. I never use it initially so I put it where it goes to the park and just leave it like that. It's up to you to decide whether it's worth saving money

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • High price

Works but shifts sloppy now

Works but shifting between ranges is not as good as the original unit. The mechanic couldn't use the white plastic clip because it didn't fit and had to use an old clip from a broken GM cable. The bottom line is that it works, but it can't adapt to work like the original.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Expensive

Can't have 1st and park

and spent 3 hours adjusting it to get the first spot and park, but once you got her to the sweet spot she didn't go in either. I never use it initially so I put it where it goes to the park and just leave it like that. It's up to you to decide whether it's worth saving money

Pros
  • . In order!
Cons
  • I installed Nuance
