This is a powerful professional blowgun. Love it. Variable speed is great. There's a blue dial/button on the back, which is also very sensitive to how hard you pull the trigger (so it's very easy to control airflow). MUCH better than the cheap blowguns you get everywhere. It creates a jet turbine sound from a blue nozzle that appears to use a venturi effect to increase airflow. You can remove it (it's a standard blowgun thread size) and put whatever tip you want on it, but I like the way it is.

It seems to move more air than a regular blowgun, but at a slower rate. It also creates a less focused airflow than the regular blowguns I buy. This makes sense considering the venturi is adding air to the system, not energy. It can be better for some situations or worse for others. The real problem is that the sound it makes destroys hearing. The regular blowgun is very loud and should be used with hearing protection, but I often use it in small amounts without protection. I hooked up this blowgun to my 10hp supercharger. 35 cu. feet per minute. It's a miracle. The jet of air it releases is focused into a cylinder about 8 inches in diameter and 6 feet long. Really good stuff. One issue: the inlet is NOT 1/4" NPT as the description says! I had to rethread so I could switch the air fitting to suit my style. I was a little worried the material was thick enough for it. but Everything went well. The air volume adjustment function is really good.
