I hadn't had a board for about 10 years before buying this one. I wanted an inexpensive board that I can use when my kids ride scooters. I initially liked the board. It seemed to be built pretty well, especially for a sub $20 board. After a short ride, the board showed signs of wear. Layers began to peel off on the tail. This skateboard will get any board you can buy at the store out of the water, the carts are all metal and the board has a nice thin concave profile. I won't compare it to a professional deck because it's been a full minute since I've played it. The wheels have good bearings but feel soft. But for what you pay, soft wheels are my only 'I'. It was less money for this full deck than a couple of trucks I looked at.
