Parts Warranty Required

Purchased this product in the past. The last purchase does not work correctly. The engine temperature is 76 degrees and causes a malfunction in the generator for which it was purchased.

Hot start starts hot!

I have a Ford Lehman 120 in my trawler. When the weather got colder, the engine became harder to start. I checked out Hot Start on the recommendation of someone in the Trawler group. I selected, ordered and installed a product that I thought would suit my needs. The engine starts more easily on cold days than in summer!

Pros
  • Engine cooling and air conditioning
Cons
  • Some faults

Replaced by Onan Generator

Our previous heater failed on an Onan Generator. This is typical as most parking heaters on the market will overheat and burn out prematurely. We bought this one because of the 20 degree difference compared to most others. Other heaters heat up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, which is roughly the temperature of the coolant when the engine is running. You don't need to turn on the heater at this temperature to heat the coolant, which puts extra pressure on the hoses. Not to mention the constant load…
