Small but efficient workhorse

I really like the product so far. I was concerned at first because the fan seemed to run a lot. I then routed the drain hose outside and everything seemed to calm down. This device is under scrutiny because it's outside in a greenhouse and I live in a rainforest. So far it has kept the ambient humidity around 70% during active rain. That's good considering 90-100% occurs elsewhere, which isn't good for growing things other than gray horses in an aviary.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not the best

Small, compact and does its job

I've been using this for over a year in my small car which is in storage to keep the humidity inside down. I routed the hose outside of the warehouse. It seems to work very well, but when the power goes out, which often happens where I live, I have to remember to turn it back on. This is my only complaint about the device, which is very small, compact and maneuverable. It definitely works in this small space. hope it lasts I will buy a second one for a small closet.

  • Happy so far

Great module but when I lose power it doesn't turn on like they claim.

This unit works very well, I bought it for my boat. The only issue I had was that the descriptions say "Smart Memory - When not plugged in, the device remembers your previous settings, including fan speed and RHT. Once power is restored the settings are applied automatically, which is great for use with an external timer or in the event of a power outage, but if I have a power outage for a week it stays off and won't turn on again , then the humidity of my boat becomes very bad, especially in…

Works well; I can't say anything about the performance

The device works perfectly. I tried to measure the wattage but thought that the humidity might not be high enough to get the full wattage even though the unit was running during the 6 hour test. I use it in an air treated pantry that is subject to some air leakage from the attic but also vented to the air conditioned hallway space. So I can't tell if he's producing the advertised pints per day. The only drawback: the drain hose came kinked, not rolled, i.e. severely kinked in many places. I was

Only suitable for a small room. Do not lower the humidity below 45%.

This thermoelectric dryer (Peltier effect) works pretty much as I expected. I use it in my bathroom which is damp after showering due to poor air circulation. Normally the humidity is around 45-55 but after a shower it rises to 65-70. This desiccant will bring it back to normal levels in about an hour. If you are looking for a dehumidifier that runs faster or can keep the humidity below 45%, you will be disappointed in this unit and should look elsewhere. compressor dryer. It is much quieter…

Great idea but no power on start. third block

This compact dehumidifier is a great idea and would solve the moisture problem on my 36ft sailboat. It's small enough to fit in a galley sink so emptying it in keep using mode was easy. I installed the unit in April and it worked fine, turning on the power and dropping the humidity to 45% overnight. When he returned to the boat in July, he found the device was not working. This is the third session this year. The other two devices would not turn on when I first took them out of the box. They…

REVISION: 📛 Fire Hazard 📛

I have previously reviewed this unit very positively. It was bought in mid-January; It is now May and the device has stopped working. Visual inspection of the power block shows that the corner of the case has melted. The device also made a clicking noise that resembled the crunching of fans; Internal inspection shows that it is actually the noise of a particularly fast-switching relay. I can't determine which part failed first, but I suspect one of them caused the other to fail. I would stay…
