He does what he says.

Many of these small panels are rated for maximum voltage and maximum current. This panel is rated for voltage and current at maximum performance and it meets its specifications.

Pros
  • Overall size 4.33" x 3.15" x 0.125" (110mm x 80mm x 3.2mm)
Cons
  • Interchangeable

Cons
  • Very expensive

A good product. Does what you need and inexpensive!

Nice solar panel! Very easy. You only get a solar panel connected to a red wire and a black wire (+ and -). Works well, the output voltage is 9V as advertised. Very inexpensive! At Radioshack's online store, lower voltage solar panels cost twice as much, if not more! I recommend.

Pros
  • Typical output voltage: 9V-5%
Cons
  • Not suitable for everyone

just know in Solar & Wind Power

Attention! This device is for hobbyists >> has NO blocking diode. If you are building a solar airplane or a ground vehicle. It does not matter. You want 100% of what he can give. You need a blocking diode to charge the battery, otherwise your battery pack will supply around 12 mA around the clock. Just drain your 175mAh DC 8.4V battery while you sleep. Now RS "still" suggests that we're a bunch of fools I guess. Didn't even mention the lack of a blocking diode. Next I put a 3 cent 1N4007…

Pros
  • Typical output power: 1 W
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
