Depending on where your secondary exhaust valve is located, like me, you may need to purchase 3/4 inch fittings for the installation. If you're lucky, you can mount it directly to the block with no additional parts. It took a while to figure out the electrical connection, but all you have to do is find the red thermostat wires going in and out of your HVAC unit and connect a black wire to a red wire , which leads to your home's thermostat. and the other to the secondary red wire. Great solution if you don't have an overflow line

Excellent product! I had an issue with the condenser drain overflowing as it never had an overflow line connected to it. I removed the plug from the overflow port and screwed the plug in, then glued the block to the plug. Don't glue it on first as you may not have enough room to screw it down the drain. A small can of primer and glue is very cheap at the hardware store. The electrical connection is not difficult if you are a little handy. You may need to do some work or research to distinguish…

Great insurance for AC drain monitoring

I bought this product along with Raven's AquaGuard AG-1200+ horizontal secondary drain pan, 24V safety/float switch and rectorseal SS1 horizontal drain (to avoid over-fuses). Bought. SS2 was installed on the secondary drain pan of the AC evaporator coil. I installed it myself which was very easy, along with another drain pan and float switches.
