Great solution if you don't have an overflow line

Excellent product! I had an issue with the condenser drain overflowing as it never had an overflow line connected to it. I removed the plug from the overflow port and screwed the plug in, then glued the block to the plug. Don't glue it on first as you may not have enough room to screw it down the drain. A small can of primer and glue is very cheap at the hardware store. The electrical connection is not difficult if you are a little handy. You may need to do some work or research to distinguish the thermostat wire from the outdoor unit wire. If you are making the connection inside the unit, simply thread the wire through an existing hole (I used the hole the thermostat wire goes through). To test the unit, I plugged the drain with a rag and poured water into the drain pan, making sure the outdoor unit was turned off well before the drain pan spilled onto the floor.
