🐴 REDMOND - Unrefined Salt Rock for Horses, 3-5 lbs (3 Pack), Rock on a Rope Review

My horse took a while to try it and then "is gone!". Turns out he tried it once and liked it. As for regular Himalayan salt lasting longer, I don't think that applies to my horse. But he loves it and I will continue to order it. I wish there were larger sizes. My Percheron/Quarthorse gets through that pretty quickly.

Ponies love this salt. It's good to know that at this time of year they contain micronutrients that may not be found in their hay. I also appreciate that it's not from the Himalayas as I'm sure people don't benefit from mining. Much like the people of Michigan when Nestle takes that much water for only $200 and the state loses and Nestle takes millions.

I have 2 larger stones and one smaller stone, overall I think it's a great deal for 3. I love that you can tie this salt together and it doesn't bunch up or get lost like other blocks. The best part is that my horses love it! I will continue to buy as long as my horses continue to like these stones. Thank you Redmond!

These Redmond stones are way better than Himalayan rock salt in my opinion because there aren't many pieces of scrap falling off the rope. They last longer (more economical) and mess up less (leave less sticky residue on barn walls). My horse and pony love them. This year I gave it to my blacksmith and his assistant for Christmas. Both were very happy with this practical gift for their horses. I will never buy Himalayan salt on a string again. Too many leftovers I don't know what to do with.

Excellent Useful salt is mined in the USA! Fast delivery and super good product for horses, cattle or goats. My mules and donkeys love it. The ropes are easily removed for throwing into the feeders. It's not the same mineral salt those hard red bricks don't want to eat. Much cheaper here than anywhere else online. I order them 9-12 at a time and I haven't had a broken one in the box yet. Yes I would buy this and everything I need from this seller again. :)
