Klein Tools 5244 Tool Apron with Tape Thong and Four Reinforced Pockets, Adjustable Waist Size 32 to 53-Inch Review

As an electrician, I go up and down stairs all the time. The bags kept getting caught on the crossbars, causing more trouble than they were worth. I still loved the product, but I ordered an electrician's apron that Klein makes and I'm a lot happier. If you don't spend time on stairs this product is great, if so buy it.

Great idea. They used durable material. However the stitching is thin and has no last pockets and the belt clip is cheap plastic which I had to return 2 of and won't be making a third. It just scatters around my van and now waits for me to get the courage to leave. All this wonderful material remained deactivated. Such an oversight in design consistency.

This tool belt would be fine if it didn't fall apart after just a week of use. In the first week, 2 rivets popped out and the thread separating the largest bags completely unraveled. It's all of normal wear and tear. There were no significant events preceding the opening of the rivets. I examined the failed rivets and they looked like they were never installed properly. The materials are of good quality but that doesn't matter as they are poorly assembled.

I like the big front pockets for screws and other things. But the pockets just behind the large one are too tight against the body, and the tool slides off the side and is difficult to reach. They had to split 2 bags into 4 and that would be perfect. The corners begin to unravel after only two months of use. The material is not as durable as I expected from this brand. In general, the purchase is not bad, but I would make four out of two bags.

You gotta watch out for people making reviews or whatever you call it. For example, I worry about who I give my money to and where it ends up. I'm sick of the ambiguity presented here in Revain. They often don't give exact measurements, and you can't even find out where that item was made. To me, this is a lure and a substitute. I'm happy with the product although it probably won't last as long since it's made in China. I am unhappy with the lack of honesty on the Revains websites. Fix that or…

This is it. 1 huge pocket for wire nuts and screws, 1 for nails and sharps, 2 more tool pockets, tape holders, that's great. Because it wraps around your waist, it distributes the weight fairly well, making it a lot more comfortable than most. It's quite hard work - I can hit the strap and it holds it with no problem. I'm an electrician and was looking for something that wouldn't break through the clips. All other aprons were canvas. Used it today and it seems functional and just what I was looking for. I love that it has a snap for litter instead of ropes to tie. I think it was very expensive but for what it is. I carry Romex staples in my right pocket and wire nuts in my left. I like it much more than her original apron I have. The outer pockets are big enough for loose fit and the like. The holder is great. The tape measure holder is fine, just not used to it. I had high hopes for this bag after first seeing it in the field and then reading the reviews. I don't feel like I was too rough with this particular piece of workwear.
