Came without a hat. Someone quality control?

Foil intact but cover not found. What were they thinking? The oil worked fine, but now I have to find a lid to close it. It seems that these types of containers accidentally tip over just because they are filled with something that is very difficult to clean.

Pros
  • Dark thread oil with low odor, anti-fog
Cons
  • Sparse instructions

Works well!

Not sure what the difference is between thread cutting oil and flat cutting oil but I like it. I mainly use it when drilling with a drill press. It's quite thick and sticky, but it can be smoky and greasy. However, the benefit is that it improves drilling, the tool stays cooler and the cut is faster. I noticed less digging and broaching. The best cutting oil I have ever used!

Pros
  • Reduces torque when tapping
Cons
  • Not as thick as other cutting tools

Cutting Oil

I tried another brand of oil which I could tell was hot and bubbling from the heat. I switched to Rigid Oil and it was like using a different machine with brand new dies. I've threaded up to 2" with a 400 hard lathe and the oil keeps the threads and dies cool and it drains well through the pump gun. The best advice anyone has ever given me about threading is that oil does the threading.

Pros
  • Cools threads and tubing while you work and speeds up scrap removal
Cons
  • Available in black only
