I've finally found the cause of my oral problems

I've been using Sensodyne Repair and Protect for years. I was starting to have problems with my tongue and gums, but I just thought it was something else. I stopped using it for a while. My mouth problems disappeared and until now I have never combined these two things. My dentist encouraged me to use Sensodyne again and even gave me free samples. So I tried again. I've been using it for 6 months. Currently my tongue is swollen and I have numb blisters on the tip of my tongue, my sense of taste

Pros
  • Toothpaste creating a repair layer deep in the tiny tubes of sensitive teeth (1, 2, 3)
Cons
  • Disappearing

Had toothache the moment I put it up to brush

I most likely will stop using this paste as it hurt when i put it on my teeth to clean them. I've been using it for a few days now, it seems to hurt a little less, but never has a toothpaste hurt my teeth just when I brush them. I'm not sure if this can lead to long lasting tooth sensitivity as the only dental product I've put on my teeth in the past that has caused pain was a teeth whitening product and even that took 20-30 minutes, until there was pain not instantaneously. I don't use…

Pros
  • Toothpaste for sensitive teeth and tooth decay prevention with an ingredient clinically proven to reduce sensitivity and provide long-lasting protection when brushed twice a day (1)

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!

I am a strong believer in Sensodyne Toothpaste and their REPAIR AND PROTECT line in particular. I've been using it for years and it really works. I am an old man and susceptible to teeth that have done their job for far too many decades, relieving me of both pain and ongoing wear and tear. There is one problem that manufacturers have decided to solve: often about a third of the tube is filled with air, not toothpaste. It annoys me that I spend so much on Air. I would never use anything other…

Works with consequences

Use this toothpaste twice a day for just over a week and a half. I noticed a subtle difference in my teeth after a few days. Just before I hit the 2 week mark, however, I noticed a sore mouth. Under the tongue was very swollen and the skin was scaly. I have blisters along my gum line, the inside of my cheek is the same as my tongue. I also had blister-like cysts on the tip of my tongue. I immediately stopped using toothpaste and within a day the swelling was gone. It took 3 weeks for my mouth…

It seems to have deteriorated despite being outdated.

date "Sell by" - in a year. The box and tube are not damaged. The slide came as a surprise to me. I've been using Sensodyne Fresh Impact for many years and it doesn't have a slide. I only bought this Repair & Protect strain because I was really struggling to find Fresh Impact at a reasonable price. The first extrusion of the paste was part paste and part liquid, and the paste part looked more orange-brown than white. I threw this part away. I tried the next piece which looked white but the…

Toothache GONE!: Oral Care

I couldn't eat a scoop of ice cream, a cold salad, or air my teeth without Sensodyne Toothpaste. That is amazing. If you've tried something other than Sensodyne toothpaste and think it will help your toothache, think again. Do not be fooled. I've tried them all. The only product that works is Sensodyne. Give it a week to use it many times. The effect is cumulative. As soon as the product accumulates in painful areas, the pain is significantly reduced to the point of complete tolerability and…
