date "Sell by" - in a year. The box and tube are not damaged. The slide came as a surprise to me. I've been using Sensodyne Fresh Impact for many years and it doesn't have a slide. I only bought this Repair & Protect strain because I was really struggling to find Fresh Impact at a reasonable price. The first extrusion of the paste was part paste and part liquid, and the paste part looked more orange-brown than white. I threw this part away. I tried the next piece which looked white but the flavor was very strong and the paste felt weird in my mouth. I won't use it. The return date has passed. Too bad because it's an expensive toothpaste.
