Used for the first time but looks great

This is my first time buying stearic acid. I made my first clear soap out of it. And although my soap came out more yellow than I would have liked, it passed the transparency tests, and the yellow color was most likely caused by my sugar solution getting too hot, or my glycerin, according to the people who helped me clean up in the FB group. It's very white, looks like wax, and smells like crayons. rzunimag. As far as I know, that's how it should be.

Great thickener, fast acting

This fatty acid is a key ingredient in my emulsified scrub recipe. The material was well packed and flows well out of the box. Good quality. "Stearic acid is one of many fatty acids that occur naturally in various plant and animal derivatives. It is found in foods such as animal fat, cocoa butter, and vegetable fats. When used in cosmetic products, stearic acid acts primarily as a thickening agent. or Harder” (extracted from Howstuffworks).

Did the job of thickening the watery hand cream

Love it. For thickening hand cream that has become watery over time. 2.4 teaspoons are typically needed for an 8 ounce cream. Be careful though as it doesn't thicken right away and adding more is wrong. Two complaints: 1) The cream has turned slightly gritty. Had to make it 2 more times before I got it right 2) No instructions on how to "melt" it in liquid to add to the hand cream. This led to #1; However, I understand that people use it for different purposes
