Suburban 2938ABK 3 Burner Black Cooktop Review

This three burner hob had a two burner lid instead of the required three burners. The packaging of the lid even said that it didn't fit on the hob, but it was repackaged and sent anyway. Now I have to buy a suitcase. dissatisfied

I have a white Suburban 3 burner stove that looked old and was corroded in places so I bought this new one black, and it fits perfectly, looks very good and works great, just like the old one.

I ordered it in advance so I didn't look at it when it arrived. We put it off until we needed it. I wish I had checked it out though. The enamel peeled off the front corner before it reached us. Wouldn't mind if he was behind, but no, he's in front. So don't laugh.

I love this stove. I have it in black and it works great in my tiny home kitchen. The temperature control takes a little getting used to, but is easy to use and easy to clean. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is that a couple of the burner grilles are loose. They just slide in, which is fine in a normal setting, but considering this is an RV cooktop, I expected them to be firmer.

The hob works great but the enamel finish is terrible. This is the second I've ordered in black and the finish catches the eye as soon as anything touches the surface. I thought the first one was defective but the second one is the same. So disappointed as I love how it looks and works great. You just have to round it off better. The only thing I can do at the moment is paint it.
