Description of ๐ŸŒก๏ธ Surebonder DT 270 Temperature Gun: Precision with Stick Integration

High/low switch lets you customize temperature accordingly. High temperature allows better bonding to metals, plastics and ceramic. Low temperature bonds delicate materials such as lace, foil ribbon and more. Full-size construction accepts 7/16" diameter glue sticks (sold separately). Dual temperature 250 Degree and 380 Degree F. High and low switch. Folding wire stand. Uses 7/16-Inch diameter glue stick. 40-watt of power.

This is a good value glue gun that has a double temperature switch but generally keep it low as most glue sticks you use should not have a high temperature. A low setting is enough to melt the glue and burn you at the same time. The glue gun accepts standard size glue sticks, not useless mini sticks. thin, light, I looked at what wire gauge it is, it's 20 AWG, for 40W it can be good, but it's scary and on the verge of a fire hazard. I have never seen an electrical cord with a wire size lessโ€ฆ

i really like it Hot glue drips, so do it.

I bought a cheap hot glue gun from Daiso and it broke after the first use. Shows that you can't buy everything that costs $1. Anyway, that's why I decided on this hot glue gun after reading some reviews. So far I like it very much. It's dripping hot glue so make sure you put it on something you don't care. I usually put it on a piece of cardboard or in a box so the hot glue doesn't get on everything. I had a cheap $1 hot glue gun to compare to, but so far I really like it and I'm glad I boughtโ€ฆ

Poor design but for basic use of some type of glue it works great.

Update from 12/28. Now that I've used this a few times I need to update. 4" glue sticks CANNOT be replaced! If you want to switch to a different type of glue, you must push through all the remaining glue. 4" sticks in the gun. It will not go through a 4" stick, even if it's new is - it is not enough. Also, the sides of this gun get very hot - very close to the trigger. I will return this item. A very simple product. Seems strong enough. I would like to do a little research. Looking back, Iโ€ฆ
