Fits 2009 Elantra Sedan. Cabin Air Filter

This is a good quality filter, it's durable, has a pull tab for easy removal and even has foam to seal the edges. It fits perfectly on my 2009 Hyundai Elantra GLS.

  • Slightly torn

Surpasses OEM for 2010 Hyundai Accent!

It's time to replace the stock cabin air filter in my wife's 2010 Hyundai Accent hatchback. After reading the reviews I settled on this one over the OEM version. This turned out to be a great decision. It fits perfectly and I immediately noticed that it is better than the standard filter. When I pulled out the old normal filter, it was thin, dirt was pouring everywhere and it was torn to pieces. This has a stiffer design and a valve on the front to pull it out again when changing out. I will…

Well-made Filter: Air Filter and Accessories

2010 Hyundai Elantra SE. 800088P was the first replacement cabin filter I bought for this machine so I have no experience with other brands. I agree with other positive posts here, its design is superior to the original filter. The owner's manual is a little vague on installation, particularly on removing the 2 glove box braces (the picture was awful). After you do it once, there will be a point (maybe not her photo, but how to bring her out). You can watch a YouTube video if you're frustrated…

Replace it yourself and save. If I could do it, then so can you!

When the dealer told me $65 for a cab air filter change, I thought I'd try it myself. I'm not mechanical, but the worst that can happen is that even if I mess up, the car will still run. As it turned out, however, it wasn't difficult. The filter is located behind the glove box; So you have to remove the glove box to replace it. With the help of some YouTube videos I was able to remove the glove box, change the filter and replace the glove box in about 10 minutes without damage. If you know what

Great inexpensive filter!

I purchased this item because Amazon said it would work on a 2010 Elantra. And he fits! :) The filter looks and feels WAAAAAAA higher quality than the filter Hyundai put in my car. It's MUCH cheaper than what the dealers are willing to charge for it ($60.00. Are you kidding?), the local "quick lube" place is charging $40.00. For around $5 here on Amazon you can't get a better deal! Yes, the filter looks premium and has foam edges to make it truly airtight. With the 2010 Elantra, I had to make a

Don't pay the dealer 5x!

I wanted to have my Hyundai Elantra (2010) serviced for $30,000 and the dealership charged over 5x the price to replace this filter. If you have 5 minutes, you can do it yourself and save a lot of money in the process. Hyundai recommends changing these cabin filters every 15,000 miles and I encourage you to follow that advice. Although I'm keeping my car and after 15,000 miles mostly driving on the highway, the filter clearly shows a lot of the dirt and debris it has trapped when it gets into…

Did you change the cabin filter? It's worth it!

I recently bought a 2007 Hyundai Accent with 144,000 miles on the odometer. When I was looking for a replacement air filter at a good price I found out that this car has a cabin air filter. (Apparently not my 1997 Accent.) I ordered this because the price was low. When I pulled out the old one (probably the original!) it was just dirty. This one fit perfectly in the same slot, and it took quite a long time to complete this task. I really believe that thanks to this filter I can now get more…

good filter best replacement parts

This filter is better designed than the factory filter. Very strong and well made. Note however: NOT suitable for Elantra Touring 09, despite what the Revain parts wizard says. It's about 1 inch longer. Instead of fiddling with returns and new shipments, I just took a saw and cut them. Back. I think it will work quite well). Also note: you should probably really change them every year, maybe 1.5 at most. I've driven 20,000 miles (which was 3 years for me) and it was absolutely filthy. Covered…

Great filter and a lot cheaper than the well known brands

I bought this item to save some money at a car dealership and learn new car care and maintenance skills. Installation is very simple, although this section does not provide instructions on how to change the filter. REPLACING THE FILTER: The cabin air filter is located behind the glove box. 1) Open the glove box and remove the contents (if necessary). 2) The glove box has two support arms - refer to removing one of the black rubber pieces from the left and right hand side of the glove box…
