Review on ๐Ÿ” Enhanced TYC 800088P Replacement Cabin Air Filter for Optimal Performance by John Hashman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Replace it yourself and save. If I could do it, then so can you!

When the dealer told me $65 for a cab air filter change, I thought I'd try it myself. I'm not mechanical, but the worst that can happen is that even if I mess up, the car will still run. As it turned out, however, it wasn't difficult. The filter is located behind the glove box; So you have to remove the glove box to replace it. With the help of some YouTube videos I was able to remove the glove box, change the filter and replace the glove box in about 10 minutes without damage. If you know what you are doing, it will take less time. This filter fits my 2010 Hyundai Elantra as listed and even has a valve in the front which should make it easier to remove next time than a factory original.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Good overall, but...
